Problems with codec map

Hi, lately I'm testing the new codec map capability that was recently added in the PliExtraInfo converter and also used in the ServiceInfo screen.
However, I see there are some problems with the mapping

codec_data = {
-1: "N/A",
0: "MPEG2",
1: "AVC",
2: "H263",
3: "VC1",
4: "MPEG4-VC",

8: "VB8",

More specifically:
- H.265 is reported as MPEG1
- VB6/8/9 are not named correctly they should be VP6/8/9. These codecs are recognized even though they are reported as N/A
- Chinese AVS (CAVS) is absent from the list, my HD51 can decode it (OpenATV recognizes the codec).

why AVC is mapped twice, in both 1 and 16?
How is the mapping determined? Is there any command that returns the number instead of the codec name, so I can test further?

How do I load the EPG events into an enigma?

Hello everybody!

I'm trying to write a plugin for downloading the EPG from the iptv provider
Such code does not cause any errors, but the event does not appear:
currTime = int(time.mktime(time.localtime(time.time())))
d = (currTime-600, 3600, "ProgramName", "ShortDesc", "Description", 0)
epgcache = eEPGCache.getInstance()

Can someone tell me what's wrong?

I want to modify the screen for my image VirtualKeyboard but i faced with problem whatever i do the the Virtualkeyboard still taking its default screen defined in image skin.xml

my code looks like this

class VirtualKeyBoard(Screen):
            skin = '<screen name="myVirtualKeyBoard" position="center,center" size="20,20" title="" flags="wfNoBorder"></screen>'

is There  a way to make VirtualKeyBoard class takes my customized screen without adding  my screen to skin.xml?

hi guys, i don't think that there is a good working retro games emulator that works on enigma2

maybe some devs can take a look at this goos thing and try to bring it to our devices

the emulator works on almost any existing OS at this time

so... why not the Enigma2 also !

Installing the OnDemand plugin (BBC/ITV/C4)

I succesfully installed the OnDemand plugin and rebooted my DM8000 with an up to date OpenPli 3. When accessing Applications from the main menu I got the message "Extensions/OnDemand (cannot import name SCOPE_ACTIVE_SKIN). I tried it with the standard Pli HD skin and the Metrix HD skin (mod for Pli), but the same error message. Is this purely a problem with the plugin or am I missing a python or so?

Ho installato su Zgemma H7S oscam da feed, ma non riesco a farlo funzionare pur avendo inserito oscam.server funzionante su altri decoder (mutant H51) sempre con openpli.

Come devo configurare correttamente.

Vu+ uno problem with network

Hello.

 

I have problem with network. When i install on vu+ uno image, the network working good 2-3 days. After network working only on local. I have to install from the zero all image if i whant network again. This is some bug?

I try to restart the network, but not working.

Wouldn't it be an idea to have this plugin moved to e2openplugins so it can be maintained (as OpenPLi advices the use of Oscam I moved from CCcam to Oscam today)? Unfortunately I don't have the know how to do this myself, but there are a lot of technical advanced people here. If somebody would be willing to move it there, and with programming skills is willing to do it, I would love to see the option to view the entitlements in this plugin (that is the only thing I miss in comparison to the CCcam info plugin)..

How do I open a channel-list in my own Plugin?

Hello, please, how do I create a channel-list in my own Plugin ?

 

I searched the Enigma2 code on git-hub servers, but I found nothing useful. I assume you need to use the imported parts of Enigma2:

from Screens.InfoBarGenerics import InfoBarChannelSelection, InfoBarShowHide
...or import such as :
from Screens.InfoBar import InfoBar

But what next? I can not bring up a channel (channel) window to switch them. The problem is that I have an image (using ePicLoad) and this picture without deleting it, I would like to display a window with a selection of satellite channels.

Does anyone know how to do this ?

 

Or at least how can I activate the channel selection window without displaying an image ?

Problem after remove audio sync

I removed audiosync because i dont use it (i never use it) the problem is after i removed it when i click (audio) in remote channel to select ac3 or subtitles (go up) the cursor wont to move down to select audio language . The cursor stay move in between the ac3(red button) and channel (green button) and subtiles if available and refuse to go down ..help please

Alpha Plugin - OSD Transparency

I needed a plugin to hide/unhide OSD, you can achive this doing in telnet

echo 0 > /proc/stb/video/alpha --> hide
echo 255 > /proc/stb/video/alpha --> unhide

the code is thoroughly taken from letterbox plugin, I assigned the hotkey, seems to work but not in all screens, you can test it in second infobar, in channel selection I get unhandled key, means I have to assign the hotkey inside the plugin itself, I don´t know how to do it, any help would be appreciated, Alpha plugin for testing, just copy to Extensions and restart enigma2

Kan .wav bestanden niet beluisteren via de VU

Hallo Allemaal,
 
Ik ben zeer tevreden over mijn VU+SoloSE v2, echter heb ik een probleem over het afspelen van .WAV bestanden.
 
Veel MP3 en Flac muziek bestanden kan ik zonder problemen afspelen met de VU+Solo SE v2
 
Echter als ik met mijn VU+SoloSE v2  .wav of .dts geluids bestanden wil afspelen( middels de VU mediaplayer)
dan hoor ik helaas geen geluid op zowel mijn samsung smart tv (HDMI aansluiting) als op mijn Yamaha versterker.
Ik zie wel dat het .WAV bestand via de VU afspeelt (voortgang) maar helaas geen geluid op zowel de TV als via de Versterker.
 
Oja: De VU+SoloSE v2 is aangesloten met een SPDIF kabeltje aan de Yamaha 5,1 versterker.En alle TV zenders kan ik beluisteren via AC3 of Mpeg.
   
 
Heeft iemand een mogelijke oplossing of tip hoe ik mijn .wav (dts) bestanden kan beluisteren, want zelf kom ik er niet meer uit.

Enigma2 Plugin KodiLiteInstaller for USB, External HDD and Normal Installation

Hello Friends,

 

Plugin enigma2-plugin-extensions-kodiliteinstaller is attached below. It can be used to install complete plugin KodiLite on a usb stick or external hdd - and also as normal in internal /Plugins/Extensions.

 

After first time start of KodiLite - Exit and Restart enigma. Please note that any already installed KodiLite will be deleted.

 

Installing KodiLite externally can make some operations faster and also useful for boxes with limited flash memory.

Some improvements?

Hi everybody,
Just 2 questions about improvements on Pli:
When displaying infobar by pressing OK on media player, the info bar is in white, which is not always good readable, due i.e. to channels logo.
Is that possible to implement color choice for the fonts?

 

And 2nd question, maybe already talked about: I had on my old Topfield, capability of adding "time stamps" on the progress bar of the recordings, in order to skip directy to these time stamps.

This function is very useful.

 

And last, what are the "marks" on progress bar when watching a record'
