Hello. Can somebody please explain to me the steps for creating a new Enigma2 flavor? I would like to try and create my own custom OS, but I do not know how or where to begin? All of the instructions that I found so far explain how to compile existing Enigma2 flavors. How do I get the core of the system, compile it, and add my own features? How do I flash a set-top-box and install the custom OS onto it? Thank you

ET11000-master branch, there was a problem with the sound in the Youtube application. If the 720P sound is set clean, if I put 1080P, then the sound is wrong. On pyro, the sumo branch sound is correct. In the log there are these lines with an error:

hi everyone, i'm just new in this forum .. i'm wonder if i can make an update for epgcache = eEPGCache.getInstance() every x minutes to reload new program as some channels only give 2 events .... it's possible touse reload () or thread () function or time.sleep()...????
Like the title says, it would be nice for me to have WireGuard working on the OpenPLi image.
In the beginning only command line support will be enough for me. And later on as a plugin within the gui or something like that.
i wanna know how to change bootlogo.jpg in the folder boot in OpenPli 6.2 , previously its was like this :
1.telnet command: mount -rw /boot -o remount
2.total commander: swap file bootlogo.jpg
3.total commander: change file attribute to 755
but now this method doesn't work in openpli 6.2
I compiled for et11000 using sumo branch(master branch too), when selected in the network settings - use DHCP-LAN works if I disable to use DHCP-LAN disappears,putty works.
Enigma2 plugin IptvStreamlink is attached below. It makes and installs favourite bouquets of tv channels from free internet sites.
This plugin uses server software Streamlink in the image. Method for installing Streamlink can be found here : - https://forums.openpli.org/topic/59029-streamlink-installation/
Install the attached plugin as usual. Please note that - after install of the bouquets - before first time use - Restart box/receiver.

Filmon - International tv with many UK channels
Tvcanli - Turkish tv hd quality
Tivustream - Mainly Italian tv
If you want tv from other internet sites - please post your requests.

Could you please tell me what version of Ubuntu should I use to cleanly compile the latest stable OpenPLi image from github?
I am a bit confused in regards to this. I see posts and tutorials mentioning all kinds of versions: 10.xx, 11.xx, 12.xx, 14.xx, 16.xx
What version is best to use as of today, to get the least amount of errors compiling the image as it is from github?

Hi,
I have an Vu+ UNO4K. I have always setup in the OpenWebif “Enable Authentication for streaming” to “ON”.
Then in the Customize menu I have the “Require authentication for http streams” set to “ON” as well.
These settings have always worked for me without any problems at all.
All of a sudden, I have installed the “OpenPLi 6.2-release (2018-06-20-release-6.2)” this feature will not work anymore, unless I set this to “OFF” in the Customize settings.
Is there a reason for this, because now whoever wants to will stream my channels without a password?
I have checked this as well in VLC. I don’t require a password anymore for streaming.
Why has this been changed?

Does an Emulator exist that can be used to test the OpenPLi image? For example, I see that the Yocto Project is using the QEMU for some of their demo images.
The big request to all users receivers Dreambox.
Check scanning tuners DVB-C(complete and etc).
I'm going to improve cable / terrestrial on openPli.

It took me quite a while to get a stable stream for USTVNow, but since a few day's I got finally the conditions right to watch US-TV Channels without freezes..
The plugin that is placed here has a basic that comes back from a few years. Last summer I'd wanted to place the code online, but then unfortionaly USTVNow has changed the API so watching was impossible. 6 months ago I found some code from TSMedia to watch USTVNow on the receiver, but the disadvantage is that you need the plugin TSMedia to watch the channels.
So.. with some help the plugin is back in action again. But.. it need some minor changes to make it more smoothly to use.
I am asking for your help to make this plugin more useable.
The GUI should change the quality to whatever you want.. but unfortunately, this recognised by the code.
