Conflicts in timer events programming
Hello,
Noticed yesterday, after flash and reinstall, that when creating recording events, when there is a conflict, the aspect of the list is the same that the recording list.
So, sometimes, if hurry, we cannot give attention that there is a conflict, press OK, thinking that the timer is ok, but in fact not created, and we have not seen this.
Can it be possible to have a different look when there is a conflict, i.e. a red advertisement, or a different look for the entire page?

Reading the RF signal level
Hi All,
I would like to build an application for reading the RF level on the tuner card.
I have some past experience building Enigma 2 plug-in's so the UI design etc. shouldn't be an issue.
Is there an enigma Python module I can import / use to read the RF level or use to interact with the tuner at a lower level?
I've seen the OpenPLi Satfinder Plug-In which shows an SNR readout but I cannot work out where the SNR is imported from!! - I was wondering if I could work this out I could use the same technique to get a 'raw' RF level.
Does anybody have any experience reading information like this?

Buyukbang Panel - Unique Features !

I summarized the feature descriptions below:
Copy EPG: Copies EPG data from source channels to the same channels without EPG data on other satellites or packages. Manuel, autuomatic, scheduled or periodic working modes are implemented.
Link EPG: Links EPG data source channels to the same channels without EPG data on other satellites or packages. Link EPG does not replicate EPG data on RAM and just link it dynamically.
Filter EPG: Filters out unwanted EPG broadcasts like Current and Next. You can add/remove filtered EPG titles from the user interface. This feature replaces my "EPG Current/Next Fix" plugin.
Fix EPG Encoding: Fixes EPG encoding problems by querying Kingofsat for selected language and adding missing entries to encoding.conf at startup once a day.
Hide Zap Errors: Hides zap errors displayed on the screen after switching to wrongly modified / broken channels. (Already implemented on PLi, this is just for other images)
Startup to Standby: Takes STB to standby on startup. Differs from statuptostandby plugin by providing an option to exclude enigma2 restarts.
Scheduler: Performs scheduled restart, reboot, shutdown and standby operations. You can choose time and days of week for the schedule from the user interface.

defects report of OpenPli sofware image 7.2 release for VU+ (UNO4K)
There are three problems (defects) with OpenPli software image 7.2 release of VU+(UNO 4K) and all OpenPli software images releases of All VU+ models :-
1- Firstly .. A problem with switching between favorite packages through the channels buttons (+ or -) in the remote control . if you have two favorites packages 1 and 2 each one is 300 channels for example . if i in 1 favorite package and i want back from channel number 1 to 300 by channels button (+ or -) in remote control, this is no problem but if i want return to number 1 by channels button (+ or -) the device takes me to channel number 301 in package 2 !!!!! . the transfer is assumed to be in the same favorite package not go to another package unless I switched to the other favorite package by the (blue button) of the favorite packages in the remote control .
you must put option in OpenPli software image in the (user's preferences) in the settings menu allowing to choose to move between favorite packages or not . if you want move between favorite packages channels by channels button (+ or -) you can select on (green colour) and if you do not want that by channels button (+ or -) select off (red colour) . (( another VU+ competition softwares images not has this problem becuse you can select between two choices in the user's preferences ))* .
2- Secondly .. The device does not restart on the same channel !!! . Meaning, if I, for example, chose channel No. 6 (BBC, for example) and I turned the device off by unplugging the power plug and turning it on again. the device is back to work but on a random channel !!! I didn't watch this channel never !!!!! . The OpenPli software image should work when restarting on (the last channel) it was on before turning off . *(another VU+ competition softwares images not has this problem because the another competition firmware make the device work on the (last channel) before turn off)* .
3- Thirdly .. The device does not read the (channels backup file) for channels from USB external memory !!! just read the channels backup file from the internal memory of the device only !!!!! . the OpenPli software image should be reading from internal or external memory automatically . (( another VU+ competition softwares images not has this problem because you can select between three choices in the setting intertnal memory or external memory or automatically ))* .
Finally .. There are three problems with OpenPli software image 7.2 release of VU+(UNO 4K) and all OpenPli software images releases of All VU+ models :-

Open Pli software image only has one opthion in user's preferences for (share) the multi favorite packages in favorite packages list or (not share) !!! but it is not has opthion for mobility between the channels in the ((same favorite package)) by channels select buttons (+ or -) if the multi favorite packages is turn on !!! If i in channel number 300 and want to go channel number 1 in the (same favorite package) by channels select buttons (+ or -) the device go to first channel in the second favorite package !!! channel number 301 !!! also if the multi favorite packages is turn off you can not select any package for watch it by press the favorite packages list (bue button) in remote control and you can not add any new channel in any favorite package !!! . (( another VU+ competition softwares images (like blackhole) not has this problem never,because you can select between two choices in the user's preferences to mobility between the channels in the favorite packages in *(same favorite package)* or between *(all packages)* )) .

Guten Abend, ich hätte eine Frage zu stellen, da ich ein openpli-Image für ein octagon sf8008 4k kompiliert habe, aber es gibt kein Plug-In für die Softcam und ein Plugin für EPGImport. Wie kann ich sie installieren?
Ich habe sie bereits ausprobiert, aber der Dekoder installiert sie mir nicht. Sie werden nicht unterstützt.

A script to get signal levels for a satellite
Hello guys,
I have come across a script that is supposed to zap through transponders of a given satellite (using lamedb entries) in order to record signal levels.
The command could be the following:
/usr/script/zap_to_every_transponder.sh 48 192 3592 (and then receiver will scan 4,8*E-19,2*E-0,8*W)
Then the result is output in a file. Unfortunately this does not quite work as expected on my motorized system.
If anyone is interested in such a script, can you please look into it and see what might be wrong.
Maybe it works well on your systems.

AutoTimer not working for streams
Hi,
I noticed that AutoTimer does not populate timers if selected channel is stream. Quite a problem for me as I mostly watch IPTV channels. They are TS streams (official IPTV provider), so not illegal stuff.
Anyone noticed this? I searched on google and I got some github discussion on openatv.

Encoding error.

iso-codes fetch error
Since yesterday development build fails because of iso-codes upstream-repo changes:

I’m using streamlinkserver on openspli 7.2 for livestream. Until now I did not find a plugin that can be used in Pli, although I think it is a nice add-on. Is there a (legal) reason not to create one ?

One proc file for detecting the MACHINE in all enigma2 images.
Hello everyone,
We store MACHINE name in "/etc/openvision/model" (Open Vision images) so we could use it in shell and other places which we can't use getBoxType, do you keep machine names somewhere in PLi?
I can provide a kernel module to create
/proc/stb/info/enigma2model
for example to store the MACHINE name from OE, if you're agree with this we could use it instead of
/proc/stb/info/hwmodel
/proc/stb/info/gbmodel
/proc/stb/info/boxtype
/proc/stb/info/vumodel
/proc/stb/info/azmodel
to check one proc file globally for all in all places, even reduce checks in enigma2 itself.
The reason behind this is https://github.com/OpenPLi/openpli-oe-core/pull/841 which made BackupSuite not compatible with PLi as we're using full machine names like "vuduo" instead of "duo" in the new "lookuptable.txt"
https://github.com/OpenVisionE2/BackupSuite/blob/master/plugin/backupsuite.sh#L214 returns "duo" for you so the new "lookuptable.txt" won't understand it.
