I have an issue with some wifi sticks and import the fallbacktuner channellist. (I know a wired ethernet is better but wifi works fine as well)
9 of 10 wifi sticks it works fine but a few I have issue when the box startup. It seems some wifi sticks need some extra time to start and then the channel import from the fallbacktuner fails.
I use the follow setting for import channellist by start: "Also import at reboot/restart enigma2"

it seems wifi with WPS is working fine by me but it's not implement in Enigma2. Are their known issues or with newer openembedded it just start to work?
I do as follow this actually easy steps:
step1: Adjust /etc/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.conf
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
update_config=1
step2 by telnet/putty command:
wpa_cli wps_pbc
step3:
press router WPS button within 2 minutes
step4 your wifi settings (SSID and password) should been found. Just for check if it's ok: /etc/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.conf

I think it should be soon a necessity to have a common repository for system and major extensions plugins strictly open sources because of licenses that could limited all the official plugins to be used only on dmm hardware.
There are many teams that could contribute like Pli, Black Hole, Vti, Vix, Sif and so on.
All the teams could have a section in their boards about the project so the plugins should be tested by many users on all the boxes.
I think the man that have the skill and maturity to manage this kind of project are you: pieterg.

One of my friend is using OpenPli 7.1 and some time it hangs.
I attached to /usr/bin/enigma2 with gdb when this happened but the only function I can see on the call stack is python mutex acquire.
So, it looks like deadlock.
Unfortunately there are no full call stack most probably because it was not compiled with "-g" or because binary was stripped.
Does OpenPli provide package with debug version of enigma2 binary to be able to get full call stack or I need to recompile it by my self?
