get some PIDs

I'm doing some tests on serviceinfo screen that i'll show you when ready.

But I haven't found something.

We can get current Audio PID by using.... either

getServiceInfoValue(iServiceInformation.sAudioPID)

or …

service = self.session.nav.getCurrentService()
audio = service and service.audioTracks()
audioPID = audio.getTrackInfo(audio.getCurrentTrack()).getPID()

Now, to get Video or PCR PID I know I can use:

getServiceInfoValue(iServiceInformation.sVideoPID)
getServiceInfoValue(iServiceInformation.sPCRPID)

But I want to do it using the other way.

I don't find any code anywhere.

Does anybody know it ?

I am running latest upgradeble image Pli4 on my Vu Zero.

Media portal after latest update is not shown in plugins, there are missing dependencies for it.

python-requests_2.11.1+git0+58d855e193-r0.0_mips32el.ipk

python-js2py_0.39+git0+144b1701fa-r0.0_mips32el.ipk

python-cfscrape_1.6.6+git0+5da4af148f-r0.1_mips32el.ipk

I have them as ipk files, bit unable to install it on Pli?!?!

Hi,

as OE developer and maintainer I normally do my various builds with bleeding-edge oe-core master.

I have tried for fun to add the vuplus layer and have immediately verified that the kernel 3.13 does not build with gcc8 (it's not just compiler-gcc8.h).

Unfortunately the build for mipsel fails with gcc7 as well, I think older binutils are needed.

Before doing further tests I am asking here if someone is already building these 3.x kernels with recent oe-core.

openembedded-core @ 30b055d sumo: update openembedded and bitbake. 4 hours ago

But this is not true because if i go for example here i see

m4: Workaround gnulib's fseeko.c implementation

but not present in openpli sumo branch.

Why don't you make that Normal and Advanced Setup Modes don't show it, and Expert mode show it ???

"Grab Movie/TV info from IMDb. Searching trough EPG and/or manual search.

Update 11.03.2018 (version 1.0-r2):

new features in Event Info:

TV button will open Confirm IMDb Title window directly (passing main screen), with current event (example: press Info while you watching some movie, then TV button)

Adding in apps list - Menu/Info button (example: press Menu or Info button in Event View window, then choose "Search with IMDb-FNC...": same as previous, this will pass main function

Update 11.03.2018 (version 1.0-r3):

Old IMDb Search will be replaced with new one (Red button on EPG windows).

Like the title says, it would be nice for me to have WireGuard working on the OpenPLi image.

In the beginning only command line support will be enough for me. And later on as a plugin within the gui or something like that.

I need dvbt2 functions, that are main free services in my area.

Please tell me anyone options I have.

Is another package that is needed ? Or is nothing to do with openpli4 ?

is needed a custom build ? (I am hopefull to do it slowly step by step)

I was also bothered with the skin not working full screen for our VU+ boxes, and it seems that the developer has stoped updating Cool Tv Guide..

With inspiration from Eragon I took all of the screens from the Cool TV guide and rezised them. (Eragon I did not use any of your files).

The method is the same as described in Eragons thread.

Use any FTP program and upload the following files to :

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/CoolTVGuide/CoolSkin

I'm writing a new plugin.

1.how can i get transponder info of current service(tv channel) like freq, symrate,Pol,pids(SID,PMTPID,ECMPID) and save this as string data. I don't want this info for skin.

2.which module files should be imported? like this :

from enigma import iServiceInformation, eTimer, eDVBFrontendParametersSatellite

3. how can i find all properties of a module like iServiceInformation or others?. I just find PluginDescriptor in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Plugin.py

I tried to compile Enigma2 on my Raspberry Pi 3 from the following link but failed with a lot of errors.

I'm wondering why do i have to make an image on my Ubuntu pc if i can compile it directrly on the Pi itself?

All enigma images or at least for VU+ 4K Ultimo, have problem to correctly encode EPG from DVB-T in Taiwan.

The system incorrectly interprets the code, that actually is UTF Big-Endian.

I was not able to find solution on any forum, not even on the producer of vu+, therefore decided to work on it.
