Universal LNB and internal loop through

Hello, I hope you are well. I wonder if you can advise on a query regarding a bug on vix/atv

Just so that I understand this correctly. A universal LNB can either be vertical or horizontal polarity (13 V for vertical and 18 V for horizontal)

The 22khz tone instigates the high band.

So if someone had a Vu Solo 2 and using internal loop through or an xtrend using a loop through cable, am I correct in understanding that you will only be able to able to access only one of the four bands? ie you could not simultaneosuly have low vertical and high vertical?

Extending the setup to an FBC tuner: If only using one wire, above limitation would apply equally to all the 8 demodulators.

If using two wires with a universal LNB, surely you should be able to access 8 frequencies so long as they are on two bands? I suppose this is the same principle when using other cable of motorised LNB.

Also, as the transponder details do not show low/high, how does E2 distinguish between what is on low band and what is on a high band? Surely it must employ this distinction somehow when selecting services?

10.70–11.70 GHz, low,

11.70–12.75 GHz, high
